Excellent results achieved by BMA vertical pulp presses
The continuous development of the vertical HP4000 pulp press contributes to an optimum process flow.
Examples of presses installed in the European sugar industry in recent years are:
- 1st press 35.2 t/h at 31.6% DS
- 2nd press (special version) 61.4 t/h at 26.1% DS
- 3rd press 32.88 t/h at 34% DS
Special features include the sturdy type of construction, high availability and power reserves as well as minimum maintenance and repair requirements. Further advantages of the BMA pulp presses are:
- Simple operation and control
- Low specific energy consumption
- Rare cossette destruction
- Minimum fine-pulp volume and screen wear
Owing to the self-purification of the screens there are practically no infections. The vertical type of construction of the HP4000 press requires little space, which is an optimum condition for connection to a BMA extraction tower.
